Finance Calculators
Work out what a loan or a mortgage will cost, how savings grow, what a price is with or without VAT, how much a discount saves and what a margin really is. Each calculator states the assumptions it makes and the limits of its result.
The loan, mortgage, savings and compound interest calculators also show the year-by-year progress, so you can see where the money goes and not just the final figure.

How the figures are worked out
Amounts are calculated exactly and rounded to the cent at a stated point, and the figures shown add up to the cent: a payment schedule ends on a balance of exactly zero, and the VAT, net and gross prices never disagree by a cent. Loan payments are rounded the way lenders round them, with the last payment adjusted.
Rates are nominal yearly rates with fixed terms, and taxes, fees and inflation are left out unless a calculator says otherwise. Your lender or your tax authority may use other conventions, so treat the results as a well-explained estimate. They are not financial advice.
